Vintage 1980 Marshall JMP Super Lead Reverb 2959 100w Valve Amplifier
This is a wonderful and rare to find original 1980 Marshall 2959 JMP. Basically a Super Lead with added reverb. It’s crazy rare, having been made for only two years, before production ceased. Cosmetically in wonderful condition, with nothing at all to report. There is a matched quad of JJ EL34 in the power section, and a mixture of ECC83s in the preamp section. The circuit board is pretty much original with only a few small components replaced – nothing significant. This amplifier has been serviced to a playable & safe standard, by one of our leading amp techs. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
