Vintage 1970 Marshall JMP Tremolo 50w Red Amplifier Head
I’ve been drooling over this since it came in – an original 1970 Marshall JMP Tremolo 50 in original red tolex, previously owned by German rock band Arktis. It’s been in Europe ever since – when I got it from Switzerland. It’s stupidly rare in the custom colour of red, and has been extremely well looked after over the years. It’s the rarer Tremolo model (1987T) of the JMP 50 and the sound is to die for. Externally it’s in wonderful condition, with only a few light scuffs on, as pictured, and has 4x replacement feet underneath.
The 3x transformers are all original – including the 1202-164 MT, 784-139 OT, and choke. The 2x EL34 are Electro Harmonix replacements, and the pre-amp valves are also replacements. I have had this serviced as soon as I got it in, and had a rather nice vintage style footswitch made with the original plug style. It’s ready to go!
