This is a legendary super early Orange Matamp Slave Unit, complete with the original vinyl cover. It’s one of the earlier examples of the ORMAT amplifiers, dating to 1969, serial 232 on the front panel, and 201 on the chassis. This beauty had been used for a rave setup in the 1970s, and then put away for some time. I managed to find this with the original owner’s family. Inside is a set of original Partridge transformers, alongside a set of original GEC KT88 valves, and a pair of original pre-amp valves. My tech has done a good service on it and now it’s a stunner!
