Vintage 1967 Gibson SG Special Vibrola Cherry Red Guitar
Vintage 1967 Gibson SG Special Vibrola Cherry Red Guitar
Gibson is the most recognisable and collectable brand when it comes to vintage guitars. In 1961, Gibson introduced a less expensive younger brother to the famous SG Standard. The most notable difference being the 2x P90 Pickups & the optional Vibrola.
This is no exception to the rarity and build-quality of these early SGs.

Cosmetic Inspection
This is in brilliant condition. Originally this was a ‘Factory 2nd’ (hence the 2 beneath the serial number) due to a knock in the finish. With age, there have been more slight knocks added to the guitar, none of which are significant, making the Factory 2nd null and unrecognisable. It is simply a brilliant, used condition 50+ year old guitar. No cracks, breaks or repairs!
Originality
In our opinion, this is all original. We have included a reissue wrap-around bridge too, just incase the buyer fancies a more sturdy bridge piece (the originals were known for their lack).
Summary
Overall, this is a very rare and collectable guitar. Not only is this sure to increase in value year on year, but also it can be an enjoyed investment.
Come along and have a play!
