These incredible amplifiers are becoming harder to find! I found this one at a local auction, where it had come in from the house clearance from the original owner. When I say this is the best example I’ve seen, well I truly mean it! It’s stunning condition inside and out, and not messed with at all. Dating to mid-1964, with the light brown grille cloth, it even comes with the original footswitch. My tech had this on his bench and had to change a few capacitors to get it working properly (clearly it was stored in a cupboard for decades (unused), but the valves are all original and work well.
The previous owner had a nice speaker output added to the rear which is very handy, otherwise completely original to the factory. Original 8″ Elac speaker works well and sounds great with the original cone. This is definitely one heck of an amplifier, and a brilliant example at that! You’ll not be disappointed. The amplifier has recently been serviced by a UK leading amplifier tech and it plays great! Please check out the pictures below as these form part of the description.
