Vintage 1960s Hofner Model 162 Red Burst Semi Solid Guitar
This is a real rare and beautiful guitar – an early 1960s Hofner Model 162. These were discontinued after a very short time, hence the rarity. It is semi solid, so weighs very little, and has an amazing look and tone to it. This has just come back from our tech and has been restrung and setup to play extremely well. It needed a deep clean as it came to us with 50 years worth of dirt and grime. The tech has done an amazing job – you wouldn’t even know! There are quite a few dings to the guitar body, as pictured, which give it an exceptional natural roadworn look.
