Body: Transparent red finished maple top with 16-1/8″ lower bout and 1-5/8″ body depth. Maple back and sides.
Neck: Mahogany neck & rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Circa 24-3/4″ scale, 1-11/16″ nut width.
Hardware: PAF Pickup Trapeze tailpiece with raised diamond and tune-o-matic bridge.
Weight: 5.2lbs
Case: Black and Yellow Lined Hard Case

Cosmetic Inspection
This is in good condition for a 53 year old guitar. As you can see in the pictures, it has a few battle scars and has been well loved. We believe this has had a partial neck break in the past but has been repaired and is now much stronger. There is a small piece of binding that has come off next to the join at the 16th fret. There has previously been another strap button attached that has been filled. Please bear in mind this is 57 years old so will not be in the condition it left the factory.

Originality
In our opinion, this has had a couple of things changed. The original Gibson Deluxe Tuners have been upgraded to the later models, but visually look very similar. The original single coil P90 has been upgraded to an early PAF (which we believe to be in or around the 1970s). The rest, in our opinion, is original and retains a truly beautiful visual of the early 1960s.

Gibson is the most recognisable and collectable brand when it comes to vintage guitars. In 1959, Gibson introduced a less expensive younger brother to the famous ES 335. The most notable difference being the 330 is fully hollow. Notable users include Martin Barre, Emily Remler, Johnny Marr, Thom Yorke and many more. This is no exception to the rarity and build-quality of these early 330s. What’s more, this is an early production model with rare block inlays and only one pickup!
