Vintage 1960s Harmony H77 Redburst USA Guitar OHSC Artist Owned

Vintage 1960s Harmony H77 Redburst USA Guitar OHSC Artist Owned

This is a wonderful piece of music history. I bought this at auction, not knowing the background. When I got it to my house, I was made aware it was owned by country music artist Cliff Whelan, who wrote some really awesome songs on this guitar. I have found videos of him playing this guitar here (YouTube is a genius!). The whole guitar, case and candy all tell a story. Inside the original yellow lined case I found a wonderful set of Rosary beads, as pictured, which he clearly took with him to every concert he played at. There are also input jacks, mic cables, machine head winders, and much more inside there.

It has the nicest genuine relic look to it from years of gigging in working men’s clubs. There is a crack to the headstock as you can see, but it has been like this for decades! It is an old break and very sturdy. I cannot explain how nice this guitar is. I’ve owned quite a few Harmony guitars, and this is by far the nicest playing I’ve ever had. The hard case has plenty of historical stickers on it. It really is an amazing guitar – one of a kind! Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
