Vintage 1979 Park 1212 50w Reverb Marshall Valve Amplifier Combo

Vintage 1979 Park 1212 50w Reverb Marshall Valve Amplifier Combo

Oh wow! What a beast of an amplifier! You rarely see these up for sale. A 50w Marshall with a different brand – Park. A set of 2x JJ EL34 valves power this beast, alongside 4x Electro Harmonix ECC83 pre amp valves, and original transformers. The low serial number (417), puts this at 1979, along with the chassis label stating 25th July 1979. It includes the original 1202-304 / 783-257 / 1471-263 transformers, all untouched.

The previous owner purchased this second hand from a London music store with a great story. He originally went in looking for a vintage Fender amplifier, when the owner took him down to the basement to show him an old Fender amplifier he had. Tucked into the corner was this ‘unbranded’ (because of the missing logo) valve amplifier. He knew exactly what it was, so managed to do a very generous deal on it. He’s since gigged it often, but looked after it like his own child! The only thing worth mention is a real bit of rock n’ roll – the cigarette burn to the original handle. It made us smile when we first saw it! Otherwise, it is in wonderful condition for its age. A couple of the corners are dented and partly missing, but this is almost expected. The grille is all in tact and very tight, the original knobs are all intact, the original Accutronics reverb tank is working perfectly, and the original Celestion T3120 (dated July 1979) have the original cones and absolutely rock!

Serial Number: 417

Comes with a custom flight case to keep this wonderful amplifier safe and secure, both in transit and if you are looking to gig this. These are a good few hundred pounds on their own!
