Vintage 1974 Fender Telecaster Sunburst Rosewood Electric Guitar

Vintage 1974 Fender Telecaster Sunburst Rosewood Electric Guitar

A wonderful 1974 Telecaster that sounds truly incredible. I bought this off of the daughter of the original owner who had played and gigged this for decades since new. I even have a nice picture of him playing it in the 1970s! He played this very well, yet looked after it. He did a few light upgrades to make it even better than these are known for (oh, and it’s really not a heavy one at all, weighing in a. 7.5lbs even with the original ashtray cover). He changed the saddles to brass saddles, upgraded the pots and lined the whole inside body with foil, he changed the pickguard to a black version. Otherwise, it is original with some incredible lacquer cracking and tobacco stained headstock. I love this guitar – it is full of character! As you can see, it really is a players grade guitar throughout, hence the price. Everything that has been done on this guitar has actually helped improve the sound. This makes no sense, I know, but it really does sing! You will not be disappointed with this beauty!
