Vintage 1974 Fender Quad Reverb USA 4×12 Amplifier Combo
Vintage 1974 Fender Quad Reverb USA 4×12 Amplifier Combo
I found this incredible piece of kit in Ireland, where it had been sat unused for some time. It’s an export model 1974 Fender Quad Reverb, with the nice 1973 dated 12L6-13 Oxford speakers inside, and the original footswitch. It needed quite a bit of work when I got it, which I have had done by a leading UK amp tech. It now plays and sounds incredible! The bottom left speaker had gone open circuit, so I had it re-coned professionally. The 4x 6L6 valves consist of a pair of new JJ’s, and a pair of original Fender branded ones. The pre-amp valves are a mixture of newer and originals too. All the transformers are original and all date to 1973 / 1974. The circuitboard has been serviced and it now all plays perfectly. These amplifiers are truly incredible, and huge! You will not be disappointed – grab a bargain!

We take all reasonable steps to ensure the equipment has been inspected by a competent person in the UK to ensure it complies with UK safety standards. This may mean it does not comply with the current standards in the country in which it will be subsequently used.
