Vintage 1970s Ibanez Flying V Model 2387 Japan Guitar OHSC
This beauty came to me from the long term owner, a truly wonderful 1975 (circa) Ibanez Flying V in the rarer red colour way. These rarely come up for sale, and this comes with the original hard case too. I’ve seen some pictures of Eddie Van Halen using this very model and, with it being part of the lawsuit era, I am really not surprised – this thing is built to perfection! In great cosmetic condition and, apart from some changed knobs, it’s in great original condition too. There has been a repair to the neck, as you can see, but this is sturdy as ever. Plays like a dream and I have just had it cleaned and re-strung by my tech too. The case is a little worse for wear, but it is the original. It’s a great example – grab a bargain!
