Vintage 1970s Carlsbro 100 PA Reverb Guitar Valve Amplifier
We’ve had a couple of Carlsbro amplifiers in in our time, being so close to the original shop, but this is one of the nicest examples by far, in wonderful condition and originality. I believe this to be dated to 1973, with the mustard caps dating to the second quarter of 1973. These early Carlsbro amplifiers are renowned for having similar transformers to the mid to late 60s Marshall amplifiers – this is one of them. There is a set of 4x EL34 valves installed (1x Mullard & 3x Unbranded), and 3x Unbranded ECC83s. There are a few scuffs to the exterior, as pictured.
