Vintage 1970 Marshall JMP 50 Plexi Crossover Valve Amplifier Head
Vintage 1970 Marshall JMP 50 Plexi Crossover Valve Amplifier Head
Where can you go where Marshall is not a household brand? They are built to the highest quality and are extremely collectable in the modern market year on year.
This particular model is the extremely rare crossover period (1969-1970), where Marshall changed the panels from plexiglass. The inside circuit, as pictured, is the same beautiful circuit that made these “Plexi 50s” so sought after! This means you can get that classic Marshall sound at low volumes! This is no exception to the rarity and build-quality of these favoured early JMP’s.

Service History
We pride ourselves on the inspection, authentication, and service of each amplifier to UK standards and regulations.
Cosmetic Inspection
This is in great condition. An absolute beauty! There are knocks and scrapes to this gigged amplifier, but nothing significant. It is awesome to see the original logo is still intact! The back panel has been replaced at some point in its past, but it looks the part.
Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
Originality
In our opinion, one of the transformers have been changed – hence the price – and the back panel is also replaced.
