Vintage 1969 Marshall Capri Red 2×8 Valve Amplifier Combo
This is a truly incredible rare amplifier that I couldn’t resist in buying when I was offered it from the original owner’s family. These late 1960s Marshall ‘Mail-Order’ Capri amplifiers used up many of the earlier parts. For example, the handle is an early leather handle, and the grill cloth is early too! There were only roughly 100 of these made, and this one dates to 1969. It’s been well used, with a few scuffs and scrapes, but incredibly original throughout. Both valves inside are original, as are the pair of Celestion 7571 speakers. It’s a real nice amplifier, and recently checked over by my tech. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
