A very special piece of history right here. These 70w Laney amplifiers were most likely built in Laney’s garage, and predate the well known 60w amplifiers. The transformers are all original, and look like Laney was experimenting with a few different ones. This one is in brilliant condition as you can see, with only a few light scuffs and scrapes. The three original transformers come alongside a pair of new EL34s, and 4x original Brimar ECC83s, giving this amplifier a real special sound. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
