I’ve been drooling over this since it came in on Christmas Eve last year. I am almost loathed to sell it, but here goes. It’s a crazy, crazy, crazy, CRAZY rare one of a kind 1966 Matamp 4-Channel PA Mixer. I’ve not seen another 4-channel before, and it’s almost certainly a custom order from Matamp back in 1966. The previous owner bought this in 1982 directly from Mat’s workshop. Whether or not it had gone out on tour before 1982, he doesn’t know, but it was 1982 when he purchased it from Mat. It has some lovely rare features on this, including the huge RS De Luxe mains transformer, as used in the first Marshall JTM45/100 amplifiers, a stunning Partridge output transformer, and a pair of original GEC KT88 valves too. Cosmetically it’s in good condition. Definitely has been well used, but it remains tight and intact. I have had this serviced as soon as I got it in so it’s ready to go! Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
