Vintage 1966 Marshall JTM45 MKII Plexi White Amplifier Head Ex PRS
This wonderful JTM45 is currently owned by the legendary Paul Reed Smith who has commissioned me to sell it on his behalf. It’s a tone machine! The green fleck tolex on this is incredibly clean and, apart from the remnants of the original owners band, is pretty much untouched. The Marshall logo was missing when Paul got it so a correct reissue was added. Internally, this one has the original mains transformer and the original choke, and a period 784-139 output transformer (non-original). The 3x period ECC83 and original Mullard GZ34 work awesome alongside a pair of newer Electro Harmonix EL34s. It’s a really nice and original example, and a rather cool owner! Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
