Vintage 1962 Hofner 500 5 Stuart Sutcliffe Brunette Bass Guitar

Vintage 1962 Hofner 500 5 Stuart Sutcliffe Brunette Bass Guitar
I am so excited to offer an original 1960s Hofner ‘Stuart Sutcliffe’ bass guitar, model 500/5. This is super rare! I purchased this beauty from the original owner, who had had it since 1962. When I got it, it came to me in great condition, but required a neck reset as most of these old Hofners do. I got this done professionally and it is now sturdy as ever. The action is still a little higher than usual, but it’s genuinely solid to play as it is. Please bear this in mind before you purchase though! (happy to send more pictures if you need them!). This one dates to 1962 and comes with a nice new brown hard case to keep it safe. The pickups work great and sound awesome – classic Hofner thud. In great cosmetic condition as you can see, with a few light scuffs and scrapes but nothing significant. You will not be disappointed! Please check out the pictures below as these form part of my description.
