Vintage 1960s Selmer Truvoice Treble N Bass 50 Amplifier Head
It’s not often you find an original ‘crocodile period’ Selmer Truvoice Treble N Bass 50 head. Not more, when it comes from the original home. This one had been toured throughout the UK back in the 1960s, and then left in a cupboard of sorts. It’s in truly wonderful original condition, including the original vinyl cover. The valves inside include a pair of original Mullard EL34, a replacement GZ34, and a mixture of 2x original Mullard ECC83s and 1x replacement ECC83.
The 3x transformers are original to the amplifier and work well. The condition of this is very good indeed, as pictured. It is an amazing example of this – near enough completely untouched and unmolested. You’ll struggle to find a purer example. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, frets, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the item is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
