This beautiful Binson Echorec 2 has been in the same family for generations — a real piece of echo history. It’s been a working machine for many decades, regularly serviced and looked after up until recently. It hadn’t been used for about 5 years when I got it. Most importantly, the motor spins, but both of my trusted techs prefer not to work on these machines unfortunately, so I’m selling it as ‘working’ but in need of some servicing. I have not tested it fully, only turned it on to see the motor works. With the right hands and a little love, this could be singing again in no time. Please bear in mind this is sold for repair.

This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, frets, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the item is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
