Vintage 1950s Framus Capri Electric Archtop Guitar Hofner Pickup OHSC
This wonderful guitar comes from the original owner’s family (through an auction), and can be seen in pictures from 1956 with him playing the guitar. Taken in 1956 outside ‘The Ferry Inn’ in Shoreham (which is still there to this day). And this is 20 minutes away from the auction I bought it from – incredible! It’s a rather nice Framus guitar, with an added Hofner floating pickup, most likely installed by Selmer back in the 1950s. Alongside the tailpiece and pickguard. A truly wonderful guitar, kept in incredible condition in the original hard case, along with the previous owner’s guitar tuition books and strings, etc. The most complete Framus guitar you’ll find. I doubt you’ll find a nicer example. Priced to sell, grab an absolute bargain! Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.
