Vintage 1970s Thor Terry Marshall 100w JTM45 Valve Guitar Amp

Vintage 1970s Thor Terry Marshall 100w JTM45 Valve Guitar Amp

Wow – a crazy rare amplifier! When we saw this, we’d never heard of them, yet alone seen one! When we got it back, we found the history of this beauty. It was made by Terry Marshall – the son of Jim himself. There is rumoured to be only 20-30 of these in existence, and this one is completely uncirculated, with the previous owner having owned this for around 30 years.

I’ve not seen a better built amplifier for a long time, with it’s Partridge transformers and 4x EL34 3x ECC83 valve setup. The sound is very similar to the early JTM45, and has a sound to die for. There are a few light marks to the tolex, most notability on the back of the top, as pictured. Internally, it is very original indeed. The EL34 valves are a mix of JJs and a vintage pair, and the ECC83s are original Brimars. You will not be disappointed with this amplifier!
