This previously documented amplifier has just been sourced from the original owner, who bought it second hand from Nobles Music in 1971. He has had it ever since and has recently decided to part with it. With only a few said to be left in existence, this amplifier is a collectors dream! This legendary KT88-equipped UL4120 is not only the ultimate tone monster, with its 120-watts of British power, it’s without a doubt one of the rarest amps in the world! The 4 & 7-series amplifiers were used extensively by the Beatles during the recording sessions for the Revolver album and beyond. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were also users of this short-lived amplifier line. Who knows who this particular amplifier could have been played by.

The serial number on this is 248, and the capacitors confirm this to be correct. It comes with all the original valves – a matched quad of GEC KT88s, along with an ECL86 and EL84. We’ve had this checked over and confirmed working well by our best technician. It’s a truly special piece! We are including a brand new, custom built flight case for safe and secure travel worldwide!
