Vintage 1960s Ludwig Super Classic Silver Sparkle Drum Kit 13,16,22

The 13×9 Tom

The 13″ tom is also in excellent condition. Some minor marks on the wrap. The chrome has cleaned up very well. Some very minor pitting as to be expected. Original damper in working order. Serial is 709130. New Everplay Coated heads on top and bottom. The inside of the shell has had the paint removed at some point.

The 16×16 Floor Tom

The 16” tom is in excellent condition. Some minor marks on the wrap. The chrome has cleaned up very well. Some pitting as to be expected. Original baseball damper arm is there but no damper. New Everplay head on the top and an original Ludwig Weatherking Standard on the bottom. Serial is 424842. Date stamped inside is 11 Nov 1966.

The 22×14 Bass Drum

The 22” Bass Drum is in good condition. Some minor marks on the wrap. The chrome has cleaned up well but still has some pitting. We have fitted new legs with rubbers as the original ones were too badly pitted. The original tom mount has been removed and replaced with a later 70s ludwig mount and the original holes have been filled (please see photos). Fitted with 2 brand new Remo Emperor heads. Serial is 424855. Date stamped is 11 Nov 1966.

This kit came to us in a sorry state. We have since dismantled, cleaned and polished each drum and the chrome to the best of our ability, making it ready to set up and play!
