Vintage Laney Klipp PA 100w Valve Amplifier.
These are built to the highest quality and are extremely collectable in the modern market year on year. This particular model would be perfect for guitar or bass. As Nicosonic states:
“…it is a perfectly good bass amp once the power supply filtering has been upgraded. It can even work for guitar if you are looking for a very neutral sound as the EQ doesn’t change the tone on their middle setting (unlike a conventional guitar amp EQ). The 6 channels allow all sorts of experimentations: you can use one channel for clean and another for crunch, or use both in parallel for an unusual sound. You can also plug a delay in another channel and manipulate its tone with the channel’s EQ. Lots of fun!”
Watts: 100 watts
Impedance: 4, 8 or 16 ohms
Valves: 2x EL34s + 8x ECC83’s
We pride ourselves on our inspections and the professional service of each amplifier, for UK regulations, making this ready to plug in and play.
This is in great, used condition and looks virtually unplayed. As you can see in the photographs, it doesn’t look it’s age! There are a few fronts on the knobs missing, but these cannot be seen until getting really close.
We believe all the parts that matter are original – including the original partridge transformers.
One of the best quality amplifiers you’ll find. These exceed the quality of most new amplifiers and are always on the increase in regards to collectability.
Come along and have a play!

The Music Locker prides itself on offering vintage and collectable pre-owned instruments and equipment (the Products).
We take all reasonable steps to ensure the equipment has been inspected by a competent person in the UK to ensure it complies with UK safety standards. This may mean it does not comply with the current standards in the country in which it will be subsequently used. It is the purchasers’ responsibility to ensure it is inspected by a competent person knowledgeable with the relevant electrical safety standards within that country, prior to connecting to any live electrical circuit.
It is the philosophy of The Music Locker to keep all items as original as possible, only changing original components when absolutely necessary. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, frets, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the item is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.
The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for any costs of refurbishment to a standard different to the one advertised.
