Overall very good condition. The original tolex has clearly been painted (except the back panel), but it looks water based paint so could easily be stripped back with a bit of TLC. We personally love the story it tells as it is! The front panel has an extra hole drilled, and the back has four extras, that we have filled and plugged as best possible. There is no sign of why these were drilled, so we can only speculate! The cabinet has been drilled for a script logo a long, long time ago. Again, we can only speculate that this was because of the growing trend in script logos coming into fashion, leaving owners of the block logos to drill a script logo to fit in with the latest amplifiers.

Please have a close look at the high resolution photographs below, as these form part of our description.

One of the four input jack sockets has been replaced with a period correct. The standby lamp is non original, but a very old replacement. Two of the feet have been changed in the past, and the Bulgin has been changed to a modern IEC socket which fits straight into the hole, meaning no extra holes needed to be drilled. Otherwise internally and externally original, including transformers, except for minor service component changes i.e. caps, resistors, etc.

At The Music Locker we will do all we can for you to get the instrument you want. You’re more than welcome to come and have a play on this, coupled with one of our vintage guitars!
