Cosmetic Inspection
This is in absolutely brilliant condition. With age, the original handle has worn but is perfectly usable as it is. However, the previous owner put on some tough black tape to strengthen it. This could easily be removed without having an effect on the condition. The pictures tell the story. You are unlikely to find another amplifier, of this age, in such great condition.

Originality
From what we can gather, this amplifier is as original as you will ever find! The transformers are original and untouched, the Hunts capacitors still remain, along with the RS & Mullard components, and even the period valves remain! We literally cannot see anything that we believe to have been changed. If any experts out there could confirm our opinions, we’d really appreciate it!

Description

1965 / 1966 Park 45 in Super Clean Original Condition!

Park was a division of Marshall amplifiers, deemed ‘Marshall in disguise’. At some point in 1965, Jim Marshall wasn’t happy with the distribution that he was getting from Rose Morris, who had exclusive rights to distribute Marshall products, so decided to brand Marshall under a different name. And so Park amplifiers was born through Johnny Jones.

The original Park 45’s were made with White Banana Knobs, White Input Nuts, Aluminium Chassis, 2x KT66s/3xECC83s/1xEZ34, Plexiglas Logo, Small Box & a Leather Handle. This particular amplifier has all of the listed!

These amplifiers are extremely hard to come by and were made in small quantities. This particular Park 45 is unbelievably rare to find – being in brilliant and original condition!

The Music Locker prides itself on offering vintage and collectable pre-owned instruments and equipment (the Products).

We take all reasonable steps to ensure the equipment has been inspected by a competent person in the UK to ensure it complies with UK safety standards. This may mean it does not comply with the current standards in the country in which it will be subsequently used. It is the purchasers’ responsibility to ensure it is inspected by a competent person knowledgeable with the relevant electrical safety standards within that country, prior to connecting to any live electrical circuit.

It is the philosophy of The Music Locker to keep all items as original as possible, only changing original components when absolutely necessary. This includes valves, capacitors, transformers, potentiometers, frets, etc. This gives the buyer the option of tailoring to their exact needs, and may mean that the item is not operating at optimum performance levels. Therefore, your personal preference may differ, depending on your circumstances (i.e. collector or musician), and you may decide to service the item in more depth upon receiving.

The Music Locker cannot accept responsibility for any costs of refurbishment to a standard different to the one advertised.
